After graduating from the University of Michigan, Krista worked as an actress and behind-the-scenes in theater, film and television.  Her work has taken her around North America aboard Holland America Cruise Lines, to Los Angeles, to her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, and to New York City, where she currently resides. 

    Krista’s on-camera experience includes appearances on Brotherhood (Showtime), Guiding Light (CBS), Third Watch (NBC), and ABC’s The Middle on which she has had a recurring role as Brick’s school counselor Mrs. Tompkins for the last two seasons.  Clips can be found on her website: www.kristabraun.com.

    Most recently, Krista earned a master’s degree in Business and Economic Reporting from New York University.  Her studies included MBA courses alongside a graduate journalism curriculum in reporting and multimedia content production.  During her time at NYU, Krista published work on NYU’s “The Recovery Times,” and completed internships at CNBC on The Kudlow Report and with NBC on TODAY.

    Currently, Krista is a segment producer on CNBC’s The Kudlow Report. When she is not booking guests, writing segment copy, or creating stock charts and dekos, Krista can often be found interviewing Kudlow guests behind-the-scenes.  A small sampling of these short “Web Exclusive” videos can be viewed by following the Krista on “Kudlow” link above.
